The number one activity on Trip Advisor for Cabo San Lucas was the Sunset Sail. With our two bonus days in Mexico, we decided to find one to go on. There is an entire marina filled with different companies offering different versions of a Sunset Sail. We didn’t want anything that had too many people or was too much of a party cruise.

We chose this company because their reviews were great. Almost all the cruises were about the same price – around $80 US, so choosing came down to the previous reviews. Everything we read about Cabo Sailing Ocean Adventures was true.

It’s a small number on the boat, they have lots of great drinks and snacks, and the captain and his mate were wonderful. We never went more than a minute without a cold beer or tasty treat in our hands.

The cruise took us out around the famous arch, near a sea lion colony, past Lover’s Beach and out into the Pacific Ocean for sunset. The views are beautiful. If you’re lucky, you’ll spot some whales. We didn’t see any on our two hour cruise, but there were plenty of birds to enjoy.

If you are planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas, make sure to add the Sunset Sail to your itinerary. Don’t forget to make a day trip north to Cerritos Beach and Todos Santos to check out our favorite Baja hike.
